The Lotus 23 has compiled one of the most outstanding records of success in current
racing. Its success has been due almost entirely to the design genius of Colin Chapman.
Although the Lotus competes evenly with other cars in terms of horsepower, its
superiority has come from its superb suspension design.
As normally supplies the 23 has four engine options ranging from 96 bhp @ 7600 RPM to
140 bhp @ 6500 RPM.
This extremely successful combination of clean lines, excellent handling and high speed
is what made the Lotus 23 a winner. The 1/24th scale Revell kit is an accurate replica
of this outstanding car.
