THIS IS A UNIQUE & HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT PROTOTYPE SLOTCAR PUSHCAR THIS UNIQUE ITEM CAME FROM THE AURORA PRODUCTS CORPORATION OF CANADA ARCHIVES. THIS IS THE EXACT CAR THAT IS FEATURED ON PAGE 139 OF THE COMPLETE COLLECTOR’S GUIDE TO AURORA SLOT CARS. THE WING WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FOTO FOR THE BOOK, BUT IS INCLUDED HERE. THE CHASSIS IS MARKED MADE IN SINGAPORE AND IS A PUSH CAR CHASSIS. I WAS FORTUNATE TO OBTAIN THE ENTIRE COLLECTION FROM ROY MANARIN. THIS UNIQUE & ONE OF A KIND ITEM IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST OF THE PUSH CARS THAT EXIST FOR IT ALSO IS AN EXTREMELY SCARCE PRODUCTION SLOT CAR WHICH SELLS ON A REGULAR BASIS IN THE $500.00 RANGE. THIS IS AN ULTIMATE COLLECTIBLE FOR THE ECCLECTIC COLLECTOR. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE ANYWHERE. THIS CAME FROM THE AURORA PRODUCTS CORPORATION REXDALE, ONTARIO CANADA COLLECTION WHICH ROY MANARIN PURCHASED IN 1983.

NOTE: The AutoWorld Mclaren XLR was modeled after a Mclaren XLR sponsored by Auto World, the Oscar Kovleski owned company, and driven by the late Peter Revson. When Peter Revson was killed during a practice run qualifying for the South African Grand Prix in 1974, all of the ads, sets and cars were removed from the marketplace. All box art featuring Peter Revson were covered over with oversized labels and the boxes reused for various other sets. Revson was driving a Shadow Ford DN3 Can Am car for the UOP Shadow Racing Team when he was killed. Some of the AFX #1752 orange and blue slotcars did reach the marketplace and are extremely difficult to locate.
